  • Hi All,

    I am having a hell of a time trying to add in the ability to agree to terms and constitions. However, I do not see any options on the backend to make this possible. Please advise.

  • We have that check box function added already, however, adding the simple required checkbox field, only adds the ability to check the box, no where does it allow the the terms and conditions article to show or be shown in a popup. Which is what I need and is how most site present this information.

  • Okay, great.

    Let's make it!
    You need to go to your Joomla! admin panel, Components-->Creative Contact Form-->Forms-->Your Form-->Fields

    Add a new field, field type "Creative Popup".
    You will see PopUp Content with text editor.
    All the configurations regarding setting e.g. Heading is written there.

    When finished it. Save it! Go to fields page of the same form again. Add new field "Checkbox", make it required (if you want), scroll down to the end of the page. You will see "add option" (icon is sheet with green + sign). Press it. Now you have to "link" checkbox with popup. For example:

    Agree with {creative_popup id="165" size="800X600"}Terms&Conditions{/creative_popup}

    "Terms&Conditions" will be a link where your Popup window will open
    "Agree with" will be just text. But this can be configured as you want.

    Also you can use other options of creative PopUp, the documentation is here:

  • Hello,

    is it posible to add a "popup link" outside the form, for example: in an article or in custom HTML module?

    I mean the situation in which the same popup can be opened using a checkbox "link" in the form and with a "link" located e.g. in the footer of the page.

    Regards

  • In my case (one single page) I used the code in the form
    Code: Select all
    {creative_popup id="155" size="800x600"}Privacy policy{/creative_popup}
    but I added the HTML version to the custom module in the footer
    Code: Select all
    <span class="ccf_popup_link" popup_id="155" w="800" h="600">Privacy policy</span>
    . It works because your JS adds the appropriate functionality to the "ccf_popup_link" class (to the link in the checkbox and in the footer ).

    Regards

    P.S. I know that this solution works only if the form and an additional HTML link are on the same page (your JS gets the popup content from the form).
