  • I am getting double lines around input fields on a new form from an existing template.
    Using Contact Form with Map. I have tried both White Templates.
    Attached is a screen cap of the issue.
    Any ideas?
    Using latest version of Chrome on Windows 10.

  • Dear Customer

    One of your plugins or your site's template is running its own styling over CCF.

  • Thanks Leon. Do you have any idea of what we might need to do, or where, to get the site template to stop drawing over it? There are a few other places on the site, like search boxes and subscription boxes, that we need that function.

  • Dear Customer

    Here is the problem:
    http://www.cyberspyder.net/components/com_jxtc/css.php?id=32&file=default

    }
    textarea, input[type="text"], input[type="password"], input[type="datetime"], input[type="datetime-local"], input[type="date"], input[type="month"], input[type="time"], input[type="week"], input[type="number"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="search"], input[type="tel"], input[type="color"], .uneditable-input

    Code: Select all
    {
       -webkit-border-radius: 0px;
       -moz-border-radius: 0px;
       border-radius: 0px!important;
       border: 1px solid #dadada!important;
       height: 42px!important;
    }

    and

    }
    /* TEXT AREA STYLES (BOOTSTRAP OVERRIDES ) */
    textarea, input[type="text"], input[type="password"], input[type="datetime"], input[type="datetime-local"], input[type="date"], input[type="month"], input[type="time"], input[type="week"], input[type="number"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="search"], input[type="tel"], input[type="color"], .uneditable-input

    Code: Select all
    {
       -webkit-border-radius: 0px;
       -moz-border-radius: 0px;
       border-radius: 0px!important;
       border: 1px solid #dadada!important;
       padding: 10px 12px!important;
    }

    If you remove all
    Code: Select all
    !important
    tags, it will work. Let me know if you cannot do it, we will find another option!

    Thanks
    Best Regards

  • Thanks Levon. That took care of the issue for the most part.
    It fixed the double line/entry fields issue on the CC form, but it also affected our newsletter subscription box on the site. We use a subscription module to pull the email to our MailChimp mailing list subscribers. I think we can fix the issue of the input box and the subscribe button not being aligned now.

  • Okay, great!

    So it was newsletter subscription module, who was running its own styling over CCF.
    If you fail to fix it, get back to us please.
    Thanks
    Best Regards
