  • I am using the Creative Contact Form module to create a form on a homepage. I'm trying to style the Creative contact forms to match an existing form. Here are the two sites:
    Test site with CC form -- http://www.accident33.devsoho.com/
    Original Site -- http://www.accidentattorneyventura.com/
    I have the following 3 problems:
    1. Reduce vertical space at the top
    2. Background should be transparent instead of white
    3. I want the name of the field to be inside the field when said field is blank.
    Can you provide any instructions to make these changes? Thank you.

  • 1. try custom-css for the form or template:

    .creativecontactform_header {
    padding: 0 !important;
    }

    plus maybe (for lowering top margin even more):

    .creativecontactform_wrapper {
    margin-top: 2px !important;
    }

    2. try custom-css for the form or template:

    .creativecontactform_wrapper {
    background: transparent !important;
    }

    3. I think it is not supported by CCF yet, if you are talking about [placeholder]-property instead of standard-label.

  • Hi Simon,
    With respect to number 3 on my list, I found a reference to putting the label next to the field on the left side on the following posting. Here is that thread:
    http://forum.creative-solutions.net/creative-contact-form/labels-text-fields-t4023.html
    I wasn't able to find any way of doing this on the mentioned templates page. Can you give me specific instructions or a screenshot of the relevant settings?
    Thank you for your time.

    p.s. - For some reason even though we have "notify me when a reply is posted" checked and an accurate email address on our profile, we haven't been receiving any notifications of postings on this thread.

  • Hi,

    To change align to left, go to templates page, choose desired template, go to text input styling, and change align to left.
    Best Regards,

  • I think I've tried what you suggested. Here is the result attached.

    The problem is that it aligns the label text and field box to the Right/Left but we want the label text to be left of the field box. I've attached what I'm looking for.

  • Dear Customer

    Unfortunately CCF doesn't support required labels positioning yet.
    Your remark will be considered in upcoming updates.

    Thanks
    Best Regards

  • Hello,

    This is what I've been looking for, label positioning! I've been reading threads on this forum to see if there is a solution, but no luck. Eventually I found mention of it here.

    Has there been any progress with this at all, or could you please provide steps on how to achieve it on a one-off basis? I've been trying to figure it out for ages and I've had no joy :cry:

  • Hello Levon,

    As with the user above, simply trying to get the label text positioned to the left of the input field box.

    Can you provide the css needed to implement this change please? :D
