Creative form background gradient - not working

Creative Contact Form is a responsive jQuery contact form with amazing visual effects. You will be surprised by count of all the possible features!

  • Hi Simon,

    Another site, another opportunity to use your awesome forms!!

    I need to remove the background gradient from the form to suit the dark design but the No/Yes option is not changing anything.

    Using the Black Template 1 as a base.

    fyi, the bg colour start and ends are 222222 which is the colour of my site bg

    The settings are pretty simple at first glance so could you help me to figure out what has gone wrong please?

    Thanks!

    Steve

  • Dear Customer

    As far as we have got your question, you should set the color code for both values start/end.

    Thanks
    Best Regards

  • Dear Steve,

    I've checked your website.
    The template you used (Black Template 1) is using custom styles written in "Custom Css" section.
    It is using background images and some custom styles.

    I've created new template called "Template 1 Edited", where I've removed custom styling and effects.
    I've changed the template for your live contact form to new created template.
    Demo form: http://www.porschemechanic.com.au/index.php/contact-us
    Form bg color is set to #222222, which can be controlled in Template Creator wizard in your admin panel.

    Let us know if you will have other questions.
    Best Regards,

  • Hi Simon,

    thank you - that is exactly how I wanted it to look.

    So the black template contained some custom CSS code that was over riding the settings in the wrapper settings then? OK

    Can you share the actual code that affected my outcome so I can make a record for future reference please? I am not great with CSS and coding myself so this will help me to 'see' what you did to correct it.

    Many thanks once again. You guys do great support for your product.

  • Hi,

    I\m happy that we got the look you wanted.
    I've created a new template called "Black 1 Edited" based on Black 1 template.
    Then I've removed the following css part from new template custom css section:
    Code: Select all
    /*Wrapper styling******************************************/
    /*
    .creative_form_FORM_ID.creativecontactform_wrapper {
    background-image: url("ccf_img_path/bg_black_2.jpg") !important;
    background-repeat: repeat !important;
    background-size: auto auto !important;
    background-color: #161616 !important;
    border-top: 1px solid rgba(48, 48, 48, 0.55) !important;
    webkit-box-shadow: 2px 4px 5px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) !important;
    -moz-box-shadow: 2px 4px 5px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) !important;
    box-shadow: 2px 4px 5px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5 !important);
    text-shadow: -1px 2px 2px #000;
    }
    */
    /*
    .creative_form_FORM_ID .creativecontactform_wrapper_inner{
    background: transparent url("ccf_img_path/bg_light.png") center 0px no-repeat;
    background-size: 100% 100% !important;
    }
    */

    So it turned off background images.
    Your new forms should use that new template, to use new stylings

    That's all.
    Best Regards,

    Simon
