  • Hi,

Hope you can help, I have a problem with my licensed (personal) contact form. Everything was running ok until we upgraded our site to SSL and since then we have been experiencing some odd behaviour with our slider and creative contact form.

If i completely clear the caches out and reload the site, the contact form appears correct for a while but then loses all the box formatting. These occurs in both SSL and non SSL access when loading the site.

    Hope you can help.. regards

The URL for this is http://www.velocefi.com/contact-us

I am getting this error on the server when I access the above URL [Fri May 12 03:01:21 2017] [error] [client 86.153.200.201] File does not exist: /home4/c1p3s5y0/public_html/media/template/jquery.min.map

  • Hi Levon,

I've sent you a PM with the details to access the site. Looks like it's sitting in the outbox though, hopefully you will receive details.

  • Hi Levon,

Unfortunately it's intermittent. If I clear the caches and use either http or https it loads for a while then loses the form again, once it's lost then repeat reloads of the page won't make it come back. The problem is not confined to one machine and happens across Firefox, Safari, Edge and Opera browsers. Just had it with opera where it was working ok but with warning message about blocked content, I then selected allow, refreshed and the problem occurred. I'm not sure it is the form that's a problem but it is affecting the form and sometimes Unite slider but that's very infrequent.

    Regards

  • Yeah it's odd, it's still happening. If you successfully manage to get the for loaded, then leave the page open, come back in a while and refresh the form disappears again. If I have two sessions running, one with the form working and another without then try and debug using "inspect element" the session without a form throws up the following error.

The stylesheet http://www.velocefi.com/index.php?option=com_creativecontactform&view=creativestyles&format=raw&id_form=1&module_id=0 was not loaded because its MIME type, “text/html”, is not “text/css”. WebRequest.jsm:345:6
The stylesheet http://www.velocefi.com/index.php?option=com_ajax&plugin=arktypography&format=json was not loaded because its MIME type, “text/html”, is not “text/css”. WebReque

I've tried googling for a resolution against the generic error but the response goes beyond my skills and the comments vary as to what the problem is?

    Cheers

  • Hi,

Looks like the problem has been resolved by applying the Joomla 3.7.1 update issued today. I've tested this with Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, Opera and Dolphin browsers and all are stable with no issues. I've been running and refreshing these constantly across two Macs and an iPad and haven't managed to make it fail.

    Thanks.
