  • Hi,

I am new to this forum and I have a question regarding forms that their render type is Pop Up Chat. I have created a check box field and I would like to link the text (Agree to terms and conditions) in front of that check box to another page. How can I do that?

    Thanks,
    Babak

  • Hi,

To create a link, just use html code in option label: <a href="your_link" target="_blank">Agree to terms and conditions</a>. HTML is allowed both in field label, and in options labels.

  • HI Simon,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am new to coding. Would you please tell me where should I insert this code?

    Thanks

  • You need to know something about html code.
But it is enough to use the code of Simons reply.
You can place that code (with your own URL of course) in field labels and in options labels of your contact form.

  • Guys thanks for the answers and sorry to bug you again but I have tried a lot and read lots of HTML coding but I couldn't fix this.
I am putting my code in both field label (or name) and in option but it didn't work as I wish. The title of the field is hyperlinked but not the text in front of the checkbox! I also don't want to show field name in my form!

Here is the link to website and you can visually see what I mean: http://viengsoc.ca/index.php/collaboration

Another thing that I noticed is when I inserted the code in option part of the field and saved it, it was changed to a normal text! apparently, I can not put any code in that option!!

Here are those fields that I insert the code:
    https://viengsoc.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7

    Cheers,

  • Hi,

I've checked it once more. You are true, for security reasons CCF does not allow html in option label. It is allowed in field label.

But for terms and conditionslink it has "Creative Popup" functionality, which will create a popup link in option label.

    Just go to CCF->Fields, create a new field with Type=Creative Popup, then copy popup code, and place it in option label. Like this: {creative_popup id="10" size="800X600"}Agree to terms and Conditions{/creative_popup}
It will create a popup link, and will open a popup when be clicked.

    Popup Documentation: http://creative-solutions.net/joomla/creative-contact-form/documentation?section=creative-popup

To hide field name, set "Show field name: to NO in field options.
    Best Regards,
